Grant
R. Poulsen
Grant graduated from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of
Law, in 2001. Prior to law school, he obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences with
a double major in history and political science, also from the University of Ottawa.
Grant was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2003. |
Grant’s professional experiences include working at Trafalgar Engineering
Ltd, assisting Engineers in the area of municipal servicing and subdivision design.
He worked as a law student for the Mississauga Office of Racioppo Zuber Coetzee
Dionne performing duties in residential and commercial real estate. Grant also
worked in the Office of Pina Grella, servicing one of the largest Mississauga
area developers.
After articling with Paul K. Lepsoe, an Ottawa-based litigator, Grant joined Luc
Barrick Law Office as a Student-at-Law. Following his Call to the Bar, he joined
with Luc Barrick to found the law firm Barrick Poulsen LLP.
Grant is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Carleton County Law
Association, the Business Network International (BNI), the Canadian Taxpayers
Federation and the Greater Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
Grant’s practice areas include: property law (particularly
residential and commercial real estate), corporate & commercial
law and wills & estates.
